To mark Mental Health Month we held a breakfast at Figtree Conference Centre recently. We were delighted that John Brogden AM, Chair of Lifeline Australia and CEO of Landcom was able to speak about mental health leadership in the workplace and share some of his own personal story.
John emphasised the need for employers to engage in discussions about mental health and how to develop mentally healthy workplaces.
The breakfast event was attended by over 60 people including the NSW Mental Health Commissioner, Catherine Lourey, CEO of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Charles Moore and CEO of the Mental Health Co-ordinating Council, Carmel Tebbutt who is a previous Deputy Premier of NSW and Minister for Health.
