The Mental Health Services (TheMHS) Annual Conference is Australasia’s leading and most diverse mental health conference, which attracts approximately 1,000 delegates of a diverse range of personal and professional backgrounds including clinicians, managers, consumers, carers, researchers, educators and policymakers. This year marked the 29th conference and it was held in Brisbane, Queensland from 27-30 August 2019, with the theme of ‘Building Healthy Communities: Stories of Resilience and Hope’.
Flourish Australia participated at the conference with an exhibition that included a large mindful colouring wall which was created by people accessing Flourish Australia services. At the conference, more than 15 of Flourish Australia representatives shared their stories of resilience and hope, with a drive to creating and inspiring a community where mental wellbeing flourishes.
