The Uluru Statement from the Heart is calls for formal recognition of First Nations people in the Constitution. The Uluru Statement from the Heart seeks three main actions:
- Voice: the establishment of a First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Voice to Parliament
- Treaty: the establishment of a Makarrata Commission to supervise the process of agreement-making
- Truth: truth-telling about our history

The proposed changes would provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander with a Voice to deliver real and practical change in their communities delivering better health and social outcomes.
